The Childcare Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment within a childcare centre, in accordance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise classrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
Follow infection control and hygiene procedures
Dispose of waste safely and correctly
Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as required
Report maintenance or safety issues to centre management
Work around children and staff with care and discretion
Essential Requirements
Previous cleaning experience (preferably in childcare, healthcare, or commercial settings)
Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
